Megafood Women’s One Daily Review

Megafood Women's One DailyI think we’re all grasping onto the truth that our modern-day living is wreaking havoc on our health.

Back when I was a kid, my mother forced me to eat my vegetables; and we did, because there wasn’t a whole lot of anything else to eat.  Times were hard, and we ate off a small plot of land at my grandfather’s house–lettuce, potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, squash, tomatoes–whatever we could grow.

Me and my siblings often complained of the lack of ”sweets” in our lives, or the absense of fish and chip dinners.  But as we aged and were praised at the dental office for our perfect teeth, and were far less ill than our classmates or coworkers, we learned to appreciate the simplicity and health benefits of living off the land.

Megafood Women’s One Daily offers the same nutrients and wholefoods as you would gain if you were regularly eating your fruits and vegetables, and drinking whole milk.  (Because you can’t tell me you are.  Not really.)

They use “Cold Fusion™ FoodState® nutrients” that contain vital food factors known as “Nutrient Chaperones™”.  And these chaperones contain plant intelligence ensuring you are delivered–and can utilize–an optimal amount of nutrients to your body.

In fact, it seems on the surface that Megafood Women’s One Daily contains less DV than most multivitamin supplements on the market.  But this is because of their use of FRESH, RAW WHOLE FOODS that are MORE READILY BIOAVAILABLE TO THE BODY.  In other words–they won’t zip right through and get pee-ed out!

Can less really be more?

Here are the claims:

  • 100% Whole Food Nutrients
  • Certified organic herbs
  • Supports a healthy emotional balance & stress response
  • Rejuvenates health and well-being
  • Protective array of carotenoids and age-defying antioxidants from colorful whole foods
  • Easy to digest & can be taken on an empty stomach without upset

And all this specifically formulated to support women regardless of what stage of life they’re in; whether it’s reproductive years or menopause.

Megafood Women’s One Daily Highlights

The ingredients in Megafood Women’s One Daily read like a phonebook.  Basically you’ve got your DV of vitamins including C, D3, E, K, B-1, B-2, B-6, B-12, Folate, Biotin, Calcium, and all your minerals–iron, Iodine, Magnesium, and Zinc, Selenium, Manganese, Potassium.  Also mixed carotenoids for eye health, Boron, and Chromium for sugar regulation.

Also included are two proprietary blends–

  • Balancing and Strengthening Blend- 50 mg including: Organic Chaste Tree Berry, Organic Ashwagandha Root, Organic Nettle Leaf, Organic Ginger Root, Organic Yellowdock Root, Organic Dandelion Root & Leaf, Organic Spring Horsetail Leaf, Organic Red Raspberry Leaf, Organic Rosemary Leaf
  • Immune Health Blend- 45 mg including:Organic Astragalus Root, Organic Eleuthero Root, Whole Orange† (natural source bioflavonoids), Wild Blueberry† (natural source anthocyanins), Cranberry† (natural source proanthocyanidins), Organic Schisandra Berry, Organic Shiitake Mushroom

Unfortunately these blends are LOW in dose, despite the reassurance that the wholefoods will more than compensate for low dose.

And Chromium at 37 mcg is far too low of an effective dose considering you need 200-400 mcg.

I am sure you’re receiving ingredient quality necessary for classification as a top-rated multivitamin–but I’m in doubts regarding dosage.

How Does Megafood Women’s One Daily Work?

Megafood Women’s One Daily works by providing the nutrition not only found in vitamins and minerals, but also from wholefoods and vegetables.  It provides ingredients to support women’s reproductive and immune systems, and radiant hair, skin and nails.

The Megafood Women’s One Daily Guarantee

Unfortunately Megafood Women’s One Daily is sold via third-party retailers, so you’ll be at the discretion of whatever retailer your purchase from for a refund.  The average price is $44, and a one-a-day price for a 90-count bottle will only set you back .49c a caplet.

Bottom line– if you really can’t go back to eating from a vegetable garden (and let’s face it, in these modern times not many of us can), a whole food product like Megafood Women’s One Daily might be a healthy addition to your lifestyle.
